Symposium: Researching with Children and Young People

This day-long event will focus on the topic of researching with children and young people. The day will feature invited speakers, case-study presentations and engagement in dialogue in small-group discussions. Among the invited speakers is Dr. Karen McAuley, Office of the Ombudsman for Children. The event will provide an opportunity to share ideas and experiences, participate in discussions and network with a range of people actively involved in and/or interested in researching with children and young people.

When: 9.30am - 4.00pm, Wednesday June 18th 2014

Where: The View, Áras na Mac Léinn, NUI Galway

Of interest to: Those who are involved in doing research with young people and/or those who are interested in doing research with young people in the future - researchers, academics, practitioners, students, policy-makers, people working in the community and voluntary and youth sectors.
