NUI Galway Volunteering Fair 2016


All are welcome to join us at the NUI Galway Volunteering Fair at the Bailey Allen Hall, Áras na Mac Léinn, on Tuesday 13th of September 2016.

Students will get the opportunity to meet tons of different types of charities, NGOs and community groups, learn about their work and see how they can help!

Exhibitors from NGOs, charities, community groups, schools, hospitals and semi- government bodies are encouraged to share their passion while creating links with the many students and staff that visit the fair each year!

Galway City's Deputy Mayor Cllr. Pearce Flannery attended the NUI Galway Volunteering Fair, organised by ALIVE, in the Bailey Allen to connect students with over 60 NGOs, charities and non-profits local, national and international. Highlight of the 2016 Volunteering Fair is the launch of the national resource an online platform to activate and engage student volunteers. is a brand new easy to use, one-stop-shop portal, connecting students with civil society organisations (CSOs) volunteering opportunities. It is an online mechanism to mobilise civically responsible graduates with an understanding of cause and effect of grand social challenges. For more information see:
