NUIG Overseas build in Zambia 2016

In past year teams of volunteers representing NUIG have traveled with Habitat for Humanity Ireland to work in partnership with our families to build homes: Here is a list of past NUIG teams:

Year: Country:
2007 Ghana
2008 Zambia
2009 Honduras
2010 Bangladesh
2012 Zambia
2014 Zambia

Owning a home for our families is more than just bricks and mortar; it provides an opportunity for children to have a base, attend school, offers security and stability and improves their health conditions.

Habitat for Humanity Ireland would love the opportunity to work with NUIG students and staff for 2 weeks in summer 2016; if you are interested in volunteering with the HFH Global Village please contact Mary at mary@habitatireland.ie or 01-5310033

alternatively if the dates do not suit you and you would like to join an open team please keep an eye on our website www.habitatireland.ie/overseas-volunteering/
Currently we are advertising for volunteers to help re-build communities which were devastated by deadly typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines in 2013
